Results Day

September 27, 2007

Well i finally got my result in hand today. It is just a 0.04 for me to be in the second class upper categories and i am happy with what i get so far. Coping with some emotional distortion last semester making me barely getting and having my attention on my studies. I guess the work and hard deeds finally pays off.

So I here make a wow that in this semester, the remaining 12 weeks will see me as a person who fights for all i can for marks and grades. With all these it will only make me feel more satisfied as i screwed up 2 papers which i think i shall not. Very very disappointing.

In future i guess there will be more updates on my studies other than craps.. so wish me luck out there. I wanna be a useful person not a useless one… I am aiming for the best this semester…

Miss Yamuna Farewell

September 26, 2007

We had a lunch reception for Miss Yamuna and below are some photos on the farewell. I took a number of photos and these are those which i think related to this post.

Miss Yamuna Last day

September 24, 2007

Today is Miss Yamuna last day, which marked the end of her service in AIMST University. She has been here since i joined AIMST in 2005. I still remember, when i first met her, i was introduced by Dr Khong Y.L who happens to be my mentor back in my year one. He however left us in Year 2006 joining Wawasan Open University. He is now an executive in First Solar, the same company where Miss Yamuna is going to..

Talking about her, in year 1 she is very helpful especially during Physics and Chemistry Lab. When comes to year 2, we have this Materials Analysis Technique lab where I am running a sample using AAS, i make a sample to be contaminated which in the end make me to extend my lab hours and when i realized that, it was already 5.20pm and here Miss Yamuna offered to stay extra hours and I was feeling grateful for that.. That was the most memorable event as the same day, i dropped my rice packet and making me to starve a little for that night. And also, that was the time where people who I thought are friends give me a tight slap on me. And I am practically alone and i dare not to trust anyone just like that. So what happened on April – August 2007 semester had a deep impression in me.

When she told me that she is leaving for Industries early this month, I thought that she was joking with me. I once misunderstood that she is leaving and when she insists that she weren’t joking,I start to see that I or we are losing a good Scientific Officer that could guide us for our Final Year Project. Just deep inside, I hope that she found her way out there and if time permits, we will have a farewell just for you miss.. I enjoy the Ups and Downs being with her..

My new home

September 24, 2007

WordPress is now my new home for blogging.. It is suppose to be a personal site and blogging make others to have a different point of view from a different angle from people.  However, it turns out sour when the flow of thoughts is terminated over excessive harassments from the readers.

I personally do not think this is a right things to do as i myself is a blogger and the pain and tense over contents being questioned whether is it relevant to them makes blogging a threat to me.

This is one of the main reason i am diverting to WP and to be more careful with my readers in the future…

Hello world!

Monthly Expenses…

September 22, 2007

When come to the end of the month, pocket money sponsored my F-M scholarship is drying and as usual, parents will ask whether we need extra or not. Charm.. This is all i have left for today but it does not make me unhappy either as this will test my endurance of being a a condition where money is limited. hahaa.. well well. lets see how long this amount of money can last ….

Of course i have some back up in the bank as well as my coins, it should be enough for me to last until early next week. As usual my dad will call me and ask whether i need extra and the same answer is that i will ask the amount that i need. Of course today i spend the whole day calculation and predicting the expenditure for the next month.

Prediction is never accurate but its better than nothing…. What took most of the toll in the expenditure is the house bills and rent… BIG chunk went there… Food comes second followed by petrol and Phone bills comes third and entertainment comes last.

A part from that i have nothing extra to spend on as most of the time i will be home and go out yum char occasionally. Just when a fren from KL came, spend on good food and some signature dish makes life a lil happier.

MONEY is not everything. Me having enough is suffice.. Not asking to be a millionaire but if i am destined to be….
i will repay to those that have favored me no matter how, who and where they are..

***My head is about to break.. FYP journals cant be accessed and Metals and Alloys assignment is turning the internet to be a dustbin… Full of rubbish..

I will be dealing with the extracts for the next 23 weeks…

Having to do something chemistry in palm oil is definitely sounds not so relevant. Especially when i am studying something different than what i am doing now. Perhaps the word “Bio” cant seems to run away from my life. Where ever i go, it still haunts me. I am still feeling blessed as i get to venture in to something different from others.

So it happen today that the USM Prof Teo came to pass us some of the HPLC columns and some related chemicals. Being a kampung boy, i am curious how the column looks like. Is it like a big cylinder or what. In the end it turns out to be a rod with 1cm of diameter if i am not mistaken. We later went to semeling and stop at the oil palm estate on the way back to get and collect some palm oil fruits.

Sakai also see this before…

What i notice from the group that came today was, as a technician with not a high pay, they knew more than certain undergraduates and what they have is experience and nothing else. So there is no bull shit also. This is the danger part of this group that came today and i am feeling quite tense sitting with them in the car.

When we reach Amanjaya, there are some of my course mate in the corridor and they look weird seeing me coming out from the car. Well there is nothing to be weird with. Being there is not always a good thing. There are pro and cons in the same time.

***Just to mention, moral such as saying thank you is important. You are such a loser as you cant even say it. This shows that you already lose I don have to win to make you lose. Because losing is a way to make me win.** Sounds arrogant… and yet that’s not the real me… Phheeewwww..

September 20, 2007
Lecture without lecture notes…. What a surprise. And rush for management classes in the new campus while the core papers are currently in the old campus.. Fast Fast shift la. can make me save some petrol money also.

Today my motorbike battery went out… Will get it fixed ASAP. Well, these are unpredictable events. Again this make me run out of budget again. Again and again. Haizzz.. But traveling to new campus with such a distance, i prefer to commute by using my motorbike. Apart of reaching the campus on time, fast and reliable.. I can cut cue and pass red light if there aren’t many cars. Haha.. what such biker am I.

After doing some calculation, I have to spend 15 mins or less to reach the campus plus parking with a car. Instead 10 mins is all required and the bike parking is nearer to the lecture room. Well i ‘d admit that i am not a safe driver neither a biker. But anything, safety comes first. Of course when there are friends traveling with me safety measures is the first priority la..

Anywhere also, in the campus we shall not park anywhere that does not belongs to us. Else the stupid guard will make noise and their BM is like Sakai language. I don or hardly UN what is coming out from their mouth. So you don want people to SAKAI you, don be a sakai.. have some rules ok. Someplace that does not belong to you better no go, or use… New campus is the new laws. Overprotective…..

Old Campus

September 18, 2007
First day of lecture, we already been given assignments. And we were told that we are only going to stay back in Amanjaya campus where inhibited the department as well as the faculty previously.

Frankly, i am not so into moving into the new campus. What for. But life we have to improve, therefore, only way to make it realized is to move forward. There are ups and downs in this campus. Things starts and ends here. Well in the end, i know this is for good. And i am happy with the outcome.

Some of the picture shot in the last semester.

Class room.. Seminar Room 7

Lecture Screen

LCD Projector

Moving to the new campus will increase the burden to those who stays not within the vicinity. A round trip is almost 20 km. Like staying in Taman Megah PJ, and attending Monash University.

Petrol money will increase by double who have their own transportation . For those who doesn’t have their own trans portation, it will be a lil less headache as they escape maintaining the vehicle. Well Semeling is not that for… Those who needs a lift i will definitely offer only when they ask.. tho it is good to be alone, there is no reason for not helping those in need.

My Third Year

September 17, 2007
I came to Kedah in 2005 and in will be graduating in 08′. Time flies and there are too many things happened in a Year 1 and Year 2 chapter itself. To conclude, the Uni life is getting myself ready to face the world outside. Frankly, when i recall back, we are being so pampered by the lecturer and we are a lil demanding at times. It is totally opposite out there, and it was realized when i was an intern in Winchem.

Later at 0830, Will be my first class in my final year, hopefully i am able to wake up as these days my biological clock has been disrupted. Some of the subject that I am taking in being lectured in the new campus and i will have to go there for lecture if i happen to take that paper. So this sem, commuting my car alone kills the monthly budget. There will be the reason for me to make use of my motorcycle this semester.

Pssstttt…..***I kinda miss the view of Lamma Island…

Happy Birthday MunTyng..
