Miss Yamuna Last day

September 24, 2007

Today is Miss Yamuna last day, which marked the end of her service in AIMST University. She has been here since i joined AIMST in 2005. I still remember, when i first met her, i was introduced by Dr Khong Y.L who happens to be my mentor back in my year one. He however left us in Year 2006 joining Wawasan Open University. He is now an executive in First Solar, the same company where Miss Yamuna is going to..

Talking about her, in year 1 she is very helpful especially during Physics and Chemistry Lab. When comes to year 2, we have this Materials Analysis Technique lab where I am running a sample using AAS, i make a sample to be contaminated which in the end make me to extend my lab hours and when i realized that, it was already 5.20pm and here Miss Yamuna offered to stay extra hours and I was feeling grateful for that.. That was the most memorable event as the same day, i dropped my rice packet and making me to starve a little for that night. And also, that was the time where people who I thought are friends give me a tight slap on me. And I am practically alone and i dare not to trust anyone just like that. So what happened on April – August 2007 semester had a deep impression in me.

When she told me that she is leaving for Industries early this month, I thought that she was joking with me. I once misunderstood that she is leaving and when she insists that she weren’t joking,I start to see that I or we are losing a good Scientific Officer that could guide us for our Final Year Project. Just deep inside, I hope that she found her way out there and if time permits, we will have a farewell just for you miss.. I enjoy the Ups and Downs being with her..

Lecture

September 20, 2007
Lecture without lecture notes…. What a surprise. And rush for management classes in the new campus while the core papers are currently in the old campus.. Fast Fast shift la. can make me save some petrol money also.

Today my motorbike battery went out… Will get it fixed ASAP. Well, these are unpredictable events. Again this make me run out of budget again. Again and again. Haizzz.. But traveling to new campus with such a distance, i prefer to commute by using my motorbike. Apart of reaching the campus on time, fast and reliable.. I can cut cue and pass red light if there aren’t many cars. Haha.. what such biker am I.

After doing some calculation, I have to spend 15 mins or less to reach the campus plus parking with a car. Instead 10 mins is all required and the bike parking is nearer to the lecture room. Well i ‘d admit that i am not a safe driver neither a biker. But anything, safety comes first. Of course when there are friends traveling with me safety measures is the first priority la..

Anywhere also, in the campus we shall not park anywhere that does not belongs to us. Else the stupid guard will make noise and their BM is like Sakai language. I don or hardly UN what is coming out from their mouth. So you don want people to SAKAI you, don be a sakai.. have some rules ok. Someplace that does not belong to you better no go, or use… New campus is the new laws. Overprotective…..

Old Campus

September 18, 2007
First day of lecture, we already been given assignments. And we were told that we are only going to stay back in Amanjaya campus where inhibited the department as well as the faculty previously.

Frankly, i am not so into moving into the new campus. What for. But life we have to improve, therefore, only way to make it realized is to move forward. There are ups and downs in this campus. Things starts and ends here. Well in the end, i know this is for good. And i am happy with the outcome.

Some of the picture shot in the last semester.

Moving to the new campus will increase the burden to those who stays not within the vicinity. A round trip is almost 20 km. Like staying in Taman Megah PJ, and attending Monash University.

Petrol money will increase by double who have their own transportation . For those who doesn’t have their own trans portation, it will be a lil less headache as they escape maintaining the vehicle. Well Semeling is not that for… Those who needs a lift i will definitely offer only when they ask.. tho it is good to be alone, there is no reason for not helping those in need.

The War Begins

July 19, 2007

Come come , who wants to join me..

Venue : Seminar Room 7 ( Lot 75) ]
Time : 1100 to 1200 ( +8.00 GMT)
Subject : Thermodynamics a.k.a Thermo Maniacs….

Mission : To score and not to Fail… Which is far beyond…

Presentation Day.

July 12, 2007

Industrial Traning presentation is what i actually fear of as I wasn’t prepared moreover the training has been over for almost 3 months and now only they say want to make us present. To recollect the work done there is very difficult, i mean to recall in details. You can ‘goreng’ anything you want as long as you don get caught with your pants down with ur underwear or boxes exposed. This will be really make you embarrassed as if you being scolded infront of many people, when the person refused to talk nicely and in a nicer toner… Believe me there is some people like this.

So the presentation went on the sequence as follows:

  1. Shalini ( Schott Glass)
  2. Balpanathan ( SMT Tech)
  3. Dick Jebamany ( Solectron)
  4. Suren ( C.E. Tech )
  5. Chin YY ( Winchem (M) Sdn Bhd)
  6. Joshua Raj ( Winchem (M) Sdn Bhd)
  7. Saiful ( AMREC Sirim)
  8. Mohd Hafiz ( TPC Penang)
Just before the presentation begins, me and few of my classmate were having some “guys talk”. Well this is a general term whereby it comprises topic that does not concern topic that girls normally talk about. Well you don expect guys with guts to talk how and where to shop, talk how do shopping, who and which guys is more gorgeous and handsome, well that is what abnormal guys talk about. Well i am not trying to create some strain environment here but a normal straight guy will talk what a normal straight guy topics man.. Well talking some nonsense is another way to release stress as you don need to think too much when you are crapping and most importantly, if the conversation is between and among the one involved, as an adult, parental advisory is no longer be applicable as long as the conversation is very much accepted by the one involved in the conversation. Listener are always welcomed to join in of course.

Well living with people expectation is very tough. Ppl mouth can say anything that they want. When they does not see you, its green light for them to vomit all the bullet of disadvantages over you and when they are in front of you, they pretend as nothing happens. Even an angel can be fooled but definitely we cant fool god. The world is made complicated by the people itself and i myself prefer to be the person i used to be as long as i do not go over board. This is a very subjective measure as it depends on who are we dealing with. Not wish to elaborate further..

But in the end the crap talk really helps to make me less tense. Topic.. ranges from the bottom to the top. Many many stuffs..

Well, this a our lecturer that teaches us Materials Management..This guy is good at

  • making the class to be awake
  • learn the subject in a different approach
  • never use text book to teach, he has his own syllabus
  • can talk 4 hours non stop
  • like to demonstrate Kung Fu when he is lecturing
  • lame but effective jokes and he is.

Dr Chuah K.Y. from Solectron, which has been taken over by Flextronics recently.
